Our client is an expanding boutique family law firm situated in Oakville. They are actively seeking a family lawyer to join their dynamic and welcoming team of experts.

Your New Role

Your role will encompass delivering top-tier legal counsel and representation to clients across various family law issues, including divorce, property settlement, parenting arrangements, domestic violence, child support, and spousal maintenance. This entails conducting client interviews, undertaking legal research, and crafting legal documentation. You'll also represent clients in court, mediation, and alternative dispute resolution forums. Managing a caseload of family law matters autonomously is expected, alongside adept communication with clients, colleagues, and external stakeholders. Staying abreast of pertinent legislation, case law, and industry best practices is crucial. Additionally, active participation in professional development initiatives and training activities is encouraged. You'll collaborate with senior lawyers on intricate cases and contribute to enhancing our legal services.

What you will need to succeed

For consideration in this position, candidates should hold a bachelor’s degree in law and be licensed to practice as a lawyer in Ontario.
