Overview

We are a boutique family law firm in downtown Vancouver looking for a Legal Administrative Assistant to join our team.

Knowledge and experience

Knowledge and experience :

  • 2+ years of family law experience in British Columbia
  • Certificate or diploma from a paralegal program
  • Attention to detail
  • Task flexibility and ability to work on multiple tasks at one time
  • Preparing correspondence including letters and emails
  • Familiarity with the Supreme Court Family Rules
  • Familiarity with the Provincial Court Family Rules would be an asset
  • Preparing, filing, and serving Court documents
  • Maintain a BF (Bring Forward) system
  • Organized and able to work under strict deadlines, with an ability to prioritize tasks
  • Maintain a calendar and appointments for 2 lawyers
  • Basic familiarity or advanced knowledge of Adobe, Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Familiarity with DivorceMate is an asset
  • Familiarity with Clio is an asset
