The Opportunity

  • Teaches life skills to the parents and other family members who access services from the Family Empowerment program. These include; behavior modification methods, role modeling, open discussions, and role-playing.
  • Schedule all access visits between children and their families with foster families and biological families as directed by the Family Support Supervisor.
  • Provide services to families referred by the Ministry of Children and Family Development, Carrier Sekani Family Services and any other delegated agency requesting services as detailed on individual contracts and Integrated Case Management (ICM) planning meetings.

What You Will Bring To The Role

  • Grade 12 diploma or equivalent plus three (3) years’ experience in a related area of practice
  • Two years’ experience in a related area of practice

Wage Range : The target hiring range for this position is $25.67 to $33.24. Candidates will typically be hired, transferred or promoted between the minimum and midpoint of the wage range. Placement within the wage range is dependent on the applicants’ role specific knowledge, skills, abilities, related experience and in consideration of factors such as market conditions and internal equity.
