Job Description:

We’re looking for Finance Analyst Co-ops to join our team! This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience analyzing financial data, preparing reports, and partnering with various business areas to support accounting and reporting functions like budgeting and forecasting. What You’ll Do:

• Learn about and contribute to TJX Canada’s Finance functions, including analysis of financial data and partnering with business areas to support accounting/reporting functions such as budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Establish positive relationships with business partners and support improvement and analysis projects.
• Assist in preparing weekly, monthly, and quarterly financial reports.
• Partner with stakeholders to assist in financial analysis and present recommendations to management on an ad-hoc basis to aid decision-making.
• Support month-end and year-end accounting duties, including journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and schedules in accordance with GAAP and company policies.

About You:

• Pursuing post-secondary education in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Mathematics.
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in MS Excel and working knowledge of other Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team or business partnering environment.
