About the Job
Mission Control is seeking a student for co-op placement on our Missions Team for the upcoming work term. As a young company at the intersection of technology development and the flourishing NewSpace market, we are looking for candidates who are passionate about AI/Machine Learning, Space Exploration, and Robotics. As part of the team, you will be exposed to a wide variety of tasks, so applicants must be self-starters, unafraid of learning something new, and have demonstrated experience in solving complex problems.
The Missions Software Team is responsible for building mission-critical software, as well as developing and maintaining software for the company’s robots that run in the Moonyard and the Orbital Autonomy lab. As part of the Missions Software Team, you will get the opportunity to contribute to the team that designs, builds, and delivers reliable robotic systems for Mission Operations.

The workplace for this position will be Mission Control's headquarters, which is located near the Bayview Train Station. Applicants should be able to commute to the workplace; however, due to our commitment to the health & safety of our employees, there will be some flexibility, and remote work may be possible on occasion. There may be some required travel to remote testing sites, including the Canadian Space Agency.
