Faculty of Nursing, Sessional Nursing Instructors
Term 3, BScN Program (Fall 2025) & Term 4, BScN Program (Winter 2026)
The University of Calgary, Faculty of Nursing is seeking Sessional Nursing Instructors to teach undergraduate clinical courses for the Fall Semester 2025 and Winter Semester 2026 in the BScN program:
FALL SEMESTER (September 2 - December 5, 2025)
WINTER SEMESTER (January 12 - April 14, 2026)
We seek applicants with nursing practice in acute and chronic care environments, especially those with previous nursing education practice experience. Practice education occurs both on and off campus, with schedules that may include days and evenings from Monday to Friday. Applicants must be available for the entire term, with orientation the week prior.
Sessional Instructors receive comprehensive orientation, mentorship, and professional development. Remuneration is based on the Collective Agreement, Schedule B. For details, visit http://www.ucalgary.ca/hr/tucfa-ca.
Teaching Responsibilities:
Qualifications: Candidates must be eligible for registration with the College and Association of Registered Nurses of Alberta. BN/BScN or higher degrees are preferred.
