The University of Calgary, Faculty of Nursing is seeking Sessional Nursing Instructors to teach undergraduate level clinical courses for the Fall Semester 2025, in the Bachelor of Nursing (BN) program as follows:
FALL SEMESTER (September 2 - December 5, 2025)
TERM 7 - NURS 589 (Integrating Nursing Roles and Practices V): Older Adult (med/surg), Oncology, and Perinatal
Schedule:
We are seeking applicants with nursing practice in acute and chronic care (medical/surgical), OR oncology (adult or pediatric), OR perinatal environments, particularly those with previous nursing education practice experience. Practice education takes place both on and off campus. Scheduling varies and may include a combination of days and evening shifts, Monday through Friday. Successful applicants are required to be available for the entire duration of term. Orientation takes place the week prior to term.
Sessional Instructors are provided with exceptional orientation, mentorship, and ongoing professional development. The amount of remuneration is calculated according to the Collective Agreement, Schedule B. Candidates must be eligible for registration with the College and Association of Registered Nurses of Alberta. Candidates with BN/BScN preparation and above will be considered.
