Generations Cleaning in Vaughan, Canada is seeking a reliable Factory Cleaner to maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment across a candy manufacturing facility. This full-time role entails cleaning production areas, equipment, washrooms, lunchrooms, and common spaces with attention to detail and adherence to sanitation standards.

The successful candidate will work Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM, earning $18.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Previous commercial, industrial, or factory cleaning experience is an asset.
• Experience in a food manufacturing facility is an asset.
• Ability to perform physically demanding cleaning duties (standing, walking, bending, lifting).
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Reliable, punctual and consistent in schedule.
• Ability to follow cleaning instructions and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, and thoroughly clean factory and production floors.
• Clean and sanitize factory equipment and surrounding surfaces according to site procedures.
• Wipe down and disinfect work surfaces, counters, and high-touch areas.
• Clean and sanitize washrooms, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, and floors.
• Maintain cleanliness of employee lunchrooms, breakrooms, and common areas.
• Empty garbage and recycling bins and replace liners.
• Remove dust, debris, and buildup throughout designated factory areas.
• Follow proper cleaning procedures and food safety protocols.
• Safely handle cleaning chemicals, supplies, and equipment.
• Complete assigned daily cleaning duties efficiently and thoroughly.
• Report any maintenance, safety, or sanitation concerns to management.
