HSAGP (Hyundai-SK America Green Power) Energy LLC is a joint venture between Hyundai Motor Group and SK On, planning to invest $5 billion to build an EV battery cell plant in Bartow County, Georgia. The plant is expected to start manufacturing in the second half of 2025, with an annual capacity of 35 GWh, supporting approximately 300,000 EVs per year. Hyundai Motor Group has also initiated the Hyundai Motor Group Metaplant America nearby, and SK On has an existing battery production site in Georgia.

Summary:

The Logistics Maintenance Technician ensures the reliable operation of logistics automation systems by performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs. The role involves working closely with engineering and production teams to minimize downtime and optimize efficiency. On-call support is required.

Responsibilities:
  1. Equipment Management and Maintenance
  • Perform preventive maintenance on equipment to prevent breakdowns
  • Inspect, diagnose, and identify issues with equipment
  • Support equipment engineers in managing equipment
  • Production Support
    • Coordinate maintenance with production schedules
    • Adjust and calibrate equipment for optimal performance
    • Train operators on equipment operation and safety
  • Troubleshooting
    • Diagnose and resolve equipment issues promptly
    • Disassemble and repair defective parts
    • Assist engineers with troubleshooting
  • Documentation and Reporting
    • Maintain logs of maintenance activities
    • Manage spare parts inventory
  • Training and Development
    • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives
    • Receive safety training regularly
  • Work Environment and Safety
    • Support 5S and safety activities
    • Maintain safety standards and prevent accidents
  • Additional Tasks
    • Perform routine tasks under supervision
    • Apply broad knowledge of equipment and procedures
    Qualifications:
    • 3-5 years of experience in EV battery, automotive parts, or high-volume manufacturing in electrical or chemical areas
    Physical Requirements:
    • Ability to perform essential functions safely and punctually
    • Occasional lifting up to 50 pounds
    • Regular standing, walking, sitting, and use of PPE
    Physical & Mental Demands:

    Work in office, production, and construction environments wearing appropriate PPE. Regularly wear uniforms and safety gear as required.
