The University of Alberta is seeking a Facility & Space Planning Analyst to join the Space Planning & Stewardship unit on a two-year term. This in-person role is based at North Campus, Edmonton, and combines data analytics with hands-on planning support.

The Facility & Space Planning Analyst serves as a critical hybrid resource within the Space Planning & Stewardship (SPS) unit. The position splits its focus between technical data analytics (40%) and integrated support for Space Planners (60%). Operating as a liaison across teams, the incumbent utilizes predictive modeling, analytics frameworks, and inventory tracking to justify space downsizing and consolidation. Concurrently, they provide active planning support by assisting with space programs, existing conditions assessments, and inter-faculty interest holders facilitation to optimize existing university space assets.
