Facility Service Worker - INS002564

Salary Range: $22.295 - $27.939 hourly

Grade: SGEU.04

SaskBuilds and Procurement is where infrastructure, procurement, real property, facility management, logistics, and information technology meet to enable the Government of Saskatchewan’s Growth Plan and programs and services for citizens and communities.

The Ministry of SaskBuilds and Procurement has an opportunity for a permanent full-time Facility Service Worker in Saskatoon.

Under the direction of the Building Operator, responsibilities include:

  1. Providing daily building maintenance and groundskeeping;
  2. Assisting co-workers with maintenance repairs;
  3. Performing client requests;
  4. Maintaining maintenance records using management software.

The successful candidate must operate grounds equipment (manual and powered), climb ladders, and lift heavy objects.

Requirements for consideration:

  1. Knowledge of building maintenance and operations;
  2. Good physical condition to perform manual activities (lifting up to 50 lbs. and ladder climbing);
  3. Valid driver's license;
  4. Valid Fireman Boiler Operator Certificate or ability to obtain within 12 months.
