Position: Facility Maintenance Technician - Manufacturing Industry

Location: Morrisburg, Ontario

Salary: $52,000 per year

Schedule: Monday to Friday (40hrs per week)

Our client, a well-established manufacturing company in Morrisburg, Ontario, is looking for a Facility Maintenance Technician to help maintain and support the daily operations of their site.

We would love to meet:

-Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in facility maintenance, building operations, or general maintenance work—ideally gained in a manufacturing, industrial, commercial, or property management setting. This includes tasks such as general repairs, preventative maintenance, equipment upkeep, basic electrical or mechanical fixes, and ensuring a safe and functional environment.

- Minimum high school education completed.

- Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs.

- Strong attention to detail, self-motivation, and communication skills.

- A professional attitude and commitment to safety.

Main Role:

- Perform minor electrical and mechanical repairs

- Conduct facility and grounds inspections (inside & outside), and preventative maintenance.

- Manage and restock consumable inventory and supplies for both facility and grounds

- Coordinate external contractors and meet with regulatory personnel.

- Assist with basic machining under the guidance of senior machinists.

- Follow safety protocols and Standard Operating Procedures.

- Maintain clean records and communicate effectively with the team.
