Job summary

Turning Leaf Community Support Services Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Support to maintain offices, day programs, residential homes and other Manitoba sites.

The role includes after-hours emergencies for residential and SIL programs and requires careful, respectful on-site conduct. You will work under the Maintenance Coordinator to ensure properties are well kept, safe, and aesthetically pleasing, handling cleaning, repairs, landscaping, and preventative maintenance with a proactive,

Qualifications

• Two years of general maintenance experience; or any equivalent combination of experience.
• Clear Criminal Record with Vulnerable Sector Check (no older than three months).
• Manitoba Class 5 driver’s license with reliable vehicle and a clear driving abstract.
• Available to travel in the region on request.
• WHMIS training is considered an assist.

Responsibilities

• Daily general office maintenance, trash removal and restocking.
• Assist with landscaping, mowing and grounds upkeep.
• Maintenance duties for Turning Leaf Residential homes and SIL locations.
• Assist with installation of security systems under IT direction.
• Other duties may be assigned.
