In our clubs, our Custodians play a very important role. We pride ourselves on maintaining clean, aesthetically pleasing facilities for every visitor. Our custodial team helps deliver that first impression. Your typical workday will include keeping our club looking its best, and meeting some of our members to ensure they leave with memorable Movati experiences they can't wait to return for.

Your availability: Monday - Sunday, afternoons, evenings, and closing shifts. Work includes cleaning and maintaining the women’s only area/changerooms.

Role

Our Custodians are responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and orderliness of the club, facilities, and surrounding areas. You will also:

• Ensure the club and facilities are maintained in a healthy, safe, sanitary, and timely manner
• Carry out routine building and grounds maintenance and inspections
• Complete cleaning and custodial duties daily, considering club traffic flow and member expectations
• Escalate custodial, maintenance, and safety issues to the Facilities Services Manager
• Follow established WHMIS safety standards and Workplace Health & Safety policies to ensure safety for all members, staff, and property

Qualifications

• Ability to work indoors and outdoors year-round in various weather conditions
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks, including sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, and kneeling
• Ability to lift medium to heavy objects
