In our clubs, our Custodians play a very important role. We pride ourselves on maintaining clean, aesthetically pleasing facilities for every visitor. Our custodial team helps deliver that first impression. Your typical workday will include keeping our club looking its best, while also meeting some of our members and ensuring they leave with memorable Movati experiences that make them eager to return.

Role

The position requires maintaining the Female changerooms. Full-time availability is needed on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday, during afternoons, evenings, and closing shifts.

Our Custodians are responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and orderliness of the club, facilities, and surrounding areas. Your duties will include:

• Ensuring the club and facilities are maintained in a healthy, safe, sanitary, and timely manner
• Carrying out routine building and grounds maintenance and inspection procedures
• Completing cleaning and custodial work duties daily, in accordance with deadlines and considering club traffic flow and member expectations
• Escalating custodial, maintenance, or safety issues to the Facilities Services Manager for resolution
• Following established WHMIS safety standards and Workplace Health & Safety policies to ensure the safety of all members, property, and staff

Qualifications

• Ability to work indoors and outdoors year-round in various weather conditions
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks, including sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, and kneeling
• Ability to lift medium to heavy objects
