You can contribute to the future of the agriculture industry by becoming a Facility Assistant I with Viterra. As a Facility Assistant I, you are responsible for tasks associated with receiving grain, loading railcars and trucks for shipment, taking grain samples and analyzing grain commodities, and general labour within the facility.

You will be provided with the training you need to successfully perform the Facility Assistant I job duties. Viterra also offers career advancement opportunities at its rural communities which means you can progress your career without having to relocate to a major city.

The ideal candidate:

The ideal candidate possesses a Grade 12 or equivalent education, can work independently, thrives in a dynamic and team environment, and has the mechanical aptitude to operate and maintain grain processing equipment.

To be successful you must have the physical ability to perform the required job duties including good eyesight and colour perception, hold a valid class 5 driver’s license, and be open to working weekends as needed.

Equivalent combinations of education and experience that result in the required level of knowledge skill and competence will be considered.
