Job summary

ICE Western Ltd is seeking a Facility and Maintenance Coordinator to join our morning shift team in Calgary. You will coordinate preventive maintenance, work with contractors, and keep equipment and facilities running smoothly in a manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities include scheduling, inspections, documentation, and inventory support, with emphasis on safety and quality. This role requires basic mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in maintenance, facilities, or manufacturing is an asset.
• Experience coordinating maintenance activities or with contractors is an asset.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and familiarity with hand and power tools preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; experience with maintenance management software is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule preventive maintenance for facility equipment and building systems.
• Contact and coordinate with external contractors and service providers for maintenance and repairs.
• Monitor and track maintenance requests, work orders, and service schedules.
• Perform general facility upkeep, including minor maintenance and repairs as required.
• Conduct routine inspections of the facility and report maintenance concerns.
• Maintain maintenance records, service logs, and related documentation.
• Support inventory management by tracking maintenance parts, tools, and supplies.
• Ensure tools, equipment, and work areas are clean, organized, and in good condition.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
• Assist with general maintenance projects and other facility-related duties as assigned.

• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; experience with maintenance management software is an asset.
• CSA-approved steel-toe safety footwear required.
• Valid driver's license is an asset.

Schedule

Morning Shift: Monday – Thursday, 6:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.; Friday, 6:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.
