Now, we're looking for a Facilities Technician to join our team. This role will play a key part in the overall growth of the organisation along with helping to maintain our core ethos here at Sysco - keeping the customer at the heart of everything we do.

This role involves managing all contracts and maintenance associated with the Dublin Distribution Centre; supporting environmental initiatives, and ensuring the safety and wellbeing of our employees.

To be successful, you will have significant experience in a similar logistics/storage business and understand the issues involved in managing a multi-temperature facility.

Key Accountabilities:

1. Delivering high-quality maintenance services to operations, ensuring work is efficient, effective, and safe.
2. Providing maintenance support, updating equipment records, and participating in continuous improvement.
3. Electrical and mechanical troubleshooting.
4. Performing electro-mechanical repairs on high-speed, PLC-controlled plant, handling and packaging equipment, and pneumatic & hydraulic control systems.
5. Providing technical support for plant facilities and services, including compressed air and refrigeration systems.
6. Performing preventative maintenance routines.
7. Updating the maintenance management system (CMMS), recording all changes, transactions, and work carried out.
8. Completing planned work and entering daily updates into CMMS.

Requirements:

• Relevant trade qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, or Automotive disciplines.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role within a regulated manufacturing environment (post-apprenticeship).
• Mechanical and electrical maintenance experience and/or qualifications.
• Excellent awareness of quality, health, and safety standards.
• Familiarity with planned preventative maintenance.
• Experience in fault finding and problem solving.
• Flexibility with shift rotation and travel.
