Job summary

Parkdale Queen West Community Health Centre is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Worker to uphold safe, well-maintained facilities across its sites. You will perform repairs, routine maintenance, and cleaning tasks, while supporting the Facilities Manager and responding to service requests.

The role requires 3–5 years of related experience, a suitable trade or building maintenance background, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school or post-secondary diploma required.
• Experience in building maintenance or related trades preferred.
• Ability to read plans and follow maintenance procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance of buildings and equipment.
• Respond to maintenance requests and prioritize safety and reliability.
• Coordinate with Facilities Manager on capital projects and service contracts.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety across multiple sites.
• Monitor and control building systems and report issues promptly.
