GDI Ainsworth is seeking a Facilities Technician 4 to handle building operations, maintenance, and repairs across assigned facilities. The role requires a journeyman certification, BAS knowledge, and the ability to work independently within a team while upholding safety and quality standards.

The candidate will manage workloads, oversee contractors, participate in on-call rotations, and document processes accurately.

Qualifications

• 5 to 10 years’ experience as a Certified Journeyman technician or equivalent.
• Knowledge of Building Automation systems (BAS).
• Self-motivated, willing to learn.
• Works well independently and is a team player.
• Presents and maintains a positive and professional image.
• Writing and verbal communication skill is a must.
• Awareness of Environment, Health & Safety Issues.
• Required to obtain/maintain a security clearance.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Must climb ladders.
• Basic computer skills is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform building maintenance and repair activities.

Job Summary

The Facilities Technician 4 is responsible for the provision of building operations, maintenance and repairs in assigned facilities according to the respective Technician’s qualifications. This job works on a wide variety of assigned tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform building maintenance and repair activities.

The pay range is $30,00 to $40,00 per hour. Actual salaries will vary based on factors such as education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as alignment with market data. The base salary is just one component of Ainsworth’s total compensation package, which also includes additional rewards, benefits and health insurance, among others.
