Job summary

Nova Cannabis Stores Limited Partnership is seeking a Facilities Technician at the Atholville Facility to perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs across the site. You will support the Asset Care and Facility Projects teams, assist contractors, and help manage inventory while upholding safety protocols.

The role emphasizes hands-on work, documentation, and collaborative problem solving in a manufacturing/cannabis environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in facility or building maintenance (manufacturing or cannabis industry an asset).
• Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and life safety systems.
• Ability to use tools, perform basic repairs, and assist tradespeople.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Basic computer skills for documentation and communication.
• Able to lift 50 lbs and perform physical tasks safely.

About the Role

Exciting Opportunity: Facilities Technician

Working closely with the Asset Care and Facility Projects teams, the Facilities Technician is responsible for carrying out a wide range of tasks across the site. This role includes performing basic repairs, inspections, preventative, reactive and corrective maintenance activities. Responsibilities extend to some facility infrastructure, processing, and production equipment, and providing support on projects and assisting with facility upgrades as needed

What you’ll be doing

• Performing routine maintenance and minor repairs (e.g., plumbing, lighting, doors, HVAC filters, small equipment)
• Inspecting and monitoring building systems and equipment
