The Facilities Supervisor is responsible for the physical plant, including supervision of Facility staff, purchasing materials for Facility, Production and Maintenance departments, and/or outside contractors such as Groundskeeping, Pest Control, Roof and Plumbing, including construction, installation, and maintenance of selected additions and alterations to the Facility.

Facility staff will be exposed to hazardous waste while performing daily duties.

  • Purchase requested items, approved by upper management, using company credit card, and maintain online statements.
  • Ensure pathways are clear of snow.
  • Administer outside contracted services such as janitorial, groundskeeping, and construction.
  • Oversee the activities of Facility staff.
  • Develop Facility associate schedules.
  • Develop and implement daily checklists.
  • Maintain and document company vehicle gas and service records.
  • Maintain work records pertaining to assignments.
  • Maintain courier records between facilities.
  • Submit Facility courier month-end reports.
  • Maintain outside bins for cardboard, wood, and garbage.
  • Follow all safety measures when handling chemicals and hazardous waste.
  • Conduct monthly LPA audits.
  • Manage Facility contractors.
  • Perform coupon pulls requested by LAB and AOI.
  • Manage driving, pickups, and deliveries.
  • Manage coupon storage at the Warehouse Facility.
  • Follow safety policies.
  • Work effectively with many departments, companies, and personalities.
  • Be a strong team player with experience managing or leading a team.
  • Proficient in PC software, spreadsheets, and database programs.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate in English at a level necessary to perform the job.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing processes, preferably within the circuit board industry.
  • At least 5 years of facility experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Post-secondary education in a technical field.
