Scope :

The Facilities Supervisor is responsible for the physical plant including supervision of Facility staff purchasing materials for Facility Production and Maintenance departments and / or outside contractors i.e. Grounds keeping Pest Controls Roof and Plumbing including construction installation and maintenance of selected additions and alterations to the Facility.

Facility staff will be exposed to hazardous waste while performing daily duties.

Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Purchase requested items approved by upper management requisitions with company credit card and maintain on-line statements.
  • Ensure pathways are clear of snow.
  • Submit purchases month end report.
  • Administer outside contracted services i.e. : Janitorial winter and summer grounds and construction.
  • Oversee the activities of Facility staff.
  • Develop Facility associate schedule.
  • Develop and implement daily check lists.
  • Maintain and document company vehicles gas and services records.
  • Maintain work records pertaining to assignments.
  • Maintain courier records between facilities.
  • Submit Facility courier month end reports.
  • Maintain cardboard wood and garbage outside bins.
  • Follow all safety measures and handling chemicals and hazardous waste.
  • Monthly LPA audits.
  • Manage Facility contractors.
  • Perform coupon pulls requested by LAB and AOI.
  • Manage driving pick up and deliveries.
  • Manage coupon storage at the Warehouse Facility.

Essential Knowledge and Skills :

  • Knowledge of safety policies.
  • Knowledge and ability to work with many departments companies and personalities.
  • Strong team player with experience managing or leading a team.
  • PC experience especially using required software spreadsheets and database programs.
  • Ability to read write and communicate in English to the degree necessary to perform the job.
  • Familiar with processes involved in manufacturing preferably within the circuit board industry.
  • Education & Experience :

  • 5 years of facility experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Post secondary education in a technical field.
