What You Will Do

  • Monitor and operate building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and security systems.
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on building systems and equipment.
  • Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify and address maintenance needs.
  • Respond to facility-related issues and emergencies in a timely manner.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies related to facility operations.
  • Work closely with the facilities management team and other departments to support facility operations and projects.
  • Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for specialized maintenance and repair services.
  • Assist vehicle mechanic with minor non- specialized tasks (vehicle transporting, re torques, etc.) as well as assist with safety related tasks in the mechanic’s shop.
  • Dip Fuel Tanks, monitor fuel levels and advise if any inconsistencies are noticed.
  • Perform regular safety inspections of the fuel area and equipment.

What You Will Bring

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in facilities management, HVAC, or a related field is considered an asset
  • DZ license required for transporting material or vehicles.
  • Minimum two (2) years of experience in facilities operations, maintenance, building automation systems or a related role.
  • Strong technical and mechanical skills.
  • Proficiency in operating and maintaining building systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
  • Basic computer skills for record-keeping and reporting.
  • Must be comfortable working at heights.
