As a CBRE Facilities Manager, you will manage a team responsible for overseeing building operations and maintenance for a facility, campus, or portfolio of small to medium-sized buildings.
This role is part of the Facilities Management team, focusing on the operations of assets and supporting Property Managers with repairs and investment plans.
Provide supervision to employees, monitor training and development, conduct performance evaluations, and oversee hiring processes.
Manage daily team activities, establish work schedules, assign tasks, cross-train staff, and track deadlines.
Coordinate repairs and maintenance by working with technicians, vendors, and contractors.
Maintain positive client relationships and conduct meetings on unresolved facility issues.
Prepare and manage budgets, capital projects, and variance reports.
Perform facility inspections to ensure quality and compliance with regulations, and suggest operational improvements.
Manage environmental health and safety procedures.
Oversee vendor relationships, invoicing, and review quotes for parts, services, and labor.
Conduct training on maintenance, repairs, and safety best practices.
Lead by example, embody CBRE RISE values, and facilitate shared interest agreements.
Apply discipline knowledge and collaborate with others to meet team objectives.
Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve operational issues.
Bachelor's Degree preferred with 3-5 years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Valid driver’s license required. Facility Management certification preferred.
Experience in staffing, training, coaching, and performance management.
Strong communication skills for handling sensitive and complex information.
Leadership skills to motivate and improve team performance.
Excellent organizational skills and a curious mindset.
Advanced math skills for financial calculations.
Note: The successful candidate must obtain and maintain a valid RCMP Enhanced Security Clearance (ERSC). Applicants must have resided in Canada for at least five years to qualify for ERS.
Eligibility: Applicants must be authorized to work in Canada without sponsorship.
Salary range is between $80,000 and $95,000 annually, depending on skills and experience. Benefits include retirement plans, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and more.
