Job summary

BioScript Solutions is seeking a Facilities Management Specialist in Canada to design facility improvements, obtain quotes, and manage service requests across pharmacies and clinics. You will visit sites, improve staff and patient flow, and collaborate with the Facility Manager to minimize disruption while prioritizing safety and quality.

The role requires 3–5 years in related fields, post-secondary education or equivalent experience, and the ability to travel within Canada.

Qualifications

• Requires post-secondary education or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years in construction, interiors, facilities management or project work.
• CAD or Lean (5S) experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and obtain quotes for small construction projects at pharmacies and clinics.
• Visit facilities to assess and improve style and function for staff and patients.
• Coordinate with Facility Manager to handle service tickets and allocate resources.
• Research and source new pharmacy/clinic sites for cost, function, and location.
• Prepare reports and presentations on facility operations and risk assessments.
• Manage multiple projects to meet timelines and budgets.
• Ensure changes align with company values and standards.

The Facilities Management Specialist will be responsible for designing facility improvements, obtaining quotes, visiting various sites to assess and enhance function and managing service requests. This role will aim to improve the overall efficiency of BioScript’ s facilities.

Your Mission

• Designing, obtaining quotes for, and ensuring adequate completion of small construction

• Researching and sourcing new pharmacy or clinic sites for cost, function, location and design requirements.
• Prepare reports and presentations on facility operations, project status, and risk assessments.
• Manage multiple concurrent projects related to facility improvements, space utilization, and infrastructure upgrades, ensuring timely delivery, adherence to budget and alignment with organizational goals.

Education

• Post-secondary education or equivalent experience

What You Bring to the Table:

• Post-secondary education or equivalent experience

Experience

• 3-5 years’ experience in construction, interior design, facilities management, project management, or a combination
• Experience in managing or working within budgets
• Experience in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) or Lean Principles (5S) considered an asset.

Skills

• Ability to travel within Canada
• Valid Driver’s License
• English proficiency is required for this position to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Bilingualism (French and English) may be required depending on the specific role, location, and the needs of the organization

Compensation:

At BioScript, your base pay is one part of your total compensation package and is determined within a range. Our pay ranges are based on the local cost of labor benchmarks for each specific role, level, and geographic location.
