Our client, a well-established and growing production facility near Niagara Falls, is looking for a Facility Coordinator to join their team. This is a great opportunity for someone who is safety-focused, hands-on, and experienced in facility or industrial maintenance.
What You’ll Do
Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations
Support and lead safety and quality programs as a key member of the leadership team
Oversee and enforce lockout / tagout procedures and manage safe work permits
Coordinate both routine and emergency maintenance for plant buildings and grounds
Liaise with external contractors, vendors, and service providers
Assist in facility upgrades and capital improvement projects
Conduct regular site inspections and address potential safety or maintenance issues
Manage internal maintenance requests through CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System)
Oversee seasonal tasks such as HVAC adjustments and snow removal planning
What We’re Looking For
High school diploma (required); post-secondary education in Facility Management, Engineering Technology, or similar (preferred)
2–4 years of experience in facility coordination or industrial maintenance
Proficient in SAP and Microsoft Office
Knowledge of building systems (HVAC, plumbing, fire systems, etc.)
Detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and proactive
Team player who can also work independently
