Job description

The role of the Facilities Management Representative is to serve as the Single Point of Contact and Building Owner for the facility needs, including Maintenance, Housekeeping, Roads & Grounds. You will be responsible for the development and administration of service contracts. You will work closely with all of our Business Partners to ensure a high level of delivery of facilities services to our tenants and their communities. Your role also involves partnering with GM communities and leading workspace transformations to find better, more creative, and efficient ways to improve our work environments.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Coordinate all facilities-related activities for your designated building(s) or business unit to ensure high-quality, timely maintenance and housekeeping services.
  2. Maintain open communication between plant and facilities organizations.
  3. Plan strategically and analytically to optimize building and facility services, guided by industry standards including space utilization, energy efficiency, and service agreements.
  4. Implement and support Global Manufacturing System (GMS) principles.
  5. Manage preventive maintenance, repairs, and testing for plant infrastructure using Maximo.
  6. Oversee maintenance of mobile equipment, including automated systems.
  7. Support fire system operations and underground repairs.
  8. Update asset condition and develop project scopes, cost estimates, and schedules.
  9. Use procurement systems (SAP, PDPM, NPP) for project scheduling and management.
  10. Ensure compliance with GM safety policies and environmental regulations.
  11. Manage project budgets, schedules, and coordination with plant departments to avoid disruptions.
  12. Develop scope documents, manage contracts, purchase orders, and invoice payments using GM systems.
  13. Collaborate with environmental and legal teams to ensure compliance and proper disposal.
  14. Interface with labor unions and audit services as required.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Maintenance/Management, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 5 years of relevant industry experience.
  • Proficiency in business software (Microsoft Office, Corrigo, Maximo, Power BI).
  • Excellent communication skills across all organizational levels.
Preferred Experience

Experience with facility/building systems and property management processes is a plus.
