Job summary

MHI Canada Aerospace, Inc. (MHICA) is seeking a Facility Maintenance Mechanic to perform day-to-day upkeep and repairs that keep production and warehousing operations running smoothly.

Reporting to the Facility Maintenance Supervisor or Lead Hand, you will handle routine maintenance tasks, follow PM schedules, and support safety and certification requirements across the Mississauga site. This is hands-on work in a Tier 1 aero structures environment.

Qualifications

• Current work authorization for Canada is required for all openings.
• Criminal background check is required for candidates aged 18 and over.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs of facilities to support production and warehousing.
• Complete daily maintenance requests and repairs through the JIRA system.
• Assist trade personnel with major activities and manage deliveries & pickups.
• Ensure and obtain equipment certifications as per MHICA Health & Safety requirements (e.g., Forklift, Crane, Scissor Lift, Boom Lift).
