Job summary

The Calgary TELUS Convention Centre seeks a Maintenance Services Worker to perform general maintenance across CTCC and the Glenbow Museum, ensuring quality and OH&S compliance. The role covers building envelopes, base/build finishes, and interior finishes at both sites, reporting to the Manager, Maintenance Services.

Responsibilities include repairs, renovations, logging tasks, coordinating with contractors, and meeting safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; post-secondary trade considered an asset.
• 3-5 years of building maintenance experience preferred.
• Microsoft Office, with strong Excel skills, is preferred.
• Experience with CMMS software such as UpKeep or Muddy Boots is an asset.
• First Aid/CPR/AED certification is beneficial.
• Knowledge of GHS, safety guidelines and fall protection is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain interior and exterior of CTCC and Glenbow Museum buildings.
• Patch walls, repaint, repair flooring, doors, windows, and fixtures.
• Oversee contractor work and enforce safety protocols.
• Log tasks and inspections using Muddy Boots software.
• Perform snow removal and support event scheduling planning.
• Operate forklift and assist with internal renovations as needed.
