Job summary

The Salvation Army in Canada is seeking a full-time facilities maintenance worker to support Crossroads Residential Services buildings, Beaver Creek Camp and Saskatoon Temple. You will perform a wide range of mechanical maintenance, cleaning, and groundskeeping to ensure a safe, comfortable environment for clients and staff.

Responsibilities include completing work orders, maintaining heating systems, inventory management, and safe operation of vehicles.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Police Information Check (PIC) with Vulnerable Sector Search.
  • Child Intervention Check.
  • Saskatchewan Class 5 Drivers License.
  • First Aid/Level A or C CPR.
  • WHMIS training.
  • Combination of education and experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

  • Complete facility work orders for repairs and maintenance.
  • Review facility condition with supervisor on schedule.
  • Read heating system data and log it with supervisor.
  • Perform minor troubleshooting of building systems.
  • Maintain and service equipment and tools; operate small engines.
  • Organize and inventory supplies required for site operation.
  • Safely operate company vehicles and related equipment.
  • Attend meetings and complete required training.
