Description

Position Title: Facilities Coordinator

Program: Corporate Services

Position Type: Permanent, Full-time

Hours of Work: 37.5 hours per week

Position Summary: This position supports the Corporate Services team, handling project work, office management, financial, administrative, IT tasks, and maintenance support.

Reports To: Senior Manager, Operations & Facilities

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and maintain an inventory tracking process.
  2. Identify future needs for large items such as computers, furniture, and appliances.
  3. Coordinate staff and furniture moves, overseeing movers and services.
  4. Request vendor quotes and collaborate with Finance on budgets.
  5. Manage storage facilities.
  6. Handle maintenance requests at CMHA Calgary worksites, including site visits for minor repairs.
  7. Perform minor landscaping tasks like lawn mowing and snow removal.
  8. Coordinate with the Health and Safety Committee on documentation and programs.
  9. Assist with coverage when the Resident & Corporate Experience Coordinator is unavailable.
  10. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills
  • At least 2 years' experience in maintenance and landscaping.
  • Post-secondary education in Business Administration or related field preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
  • Ability to perform strenuous activities and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Office management or financial experience is a plus.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and computer skills (Microsoft Office, Zoom, Outlook, databases).
  • Confidence in communication and seeking clarity.
  • Knowledge of office procedures.
  • Discretion, confidentiality, and professionalism.
  • Awareness of mental health and addiction issues.
