Description

The Information Technologies department is currently seeking a full-time temporary Facilities Intake Generalist for approximately 4 months.

The Facilities Intake Team in the IT department is seeking a summer student reporting to Adam Baker. This is a full-time position (35 hours per week), fixed-term for 13 weeks (May 6th - Aug. 2nd). The student will work in-person, 7 hours daily during traditional business hours.

Affected employees should seek written confirmation from their manager regarding their eligibility to return to their previous position after the temporary assignment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Managing and organizing incoming inventory
  • Supporting field logistics and equipment maintenance
  • Establishing and maintaining effective relationships with staff, peers, supervisors, and the campus community
  • Managing time effectively and keeping the supervisor informed of activities and progress
  • Supporting technological improvements within the Facilities Intake team through programming and planning
Qualifications / Requirements
  • Ability to lift 25 KGs
  • Familiarity with the latest standard tech practices
  • Basic understanding of project management processes
  • Practices consistent and readable programming documentation
  • Eagerness to participate and learn various fields in IT
  • Basic programming skills for supporting AV solutions (e.g., Crestron, Kramer, Q-Sys), data reporting, and research applications
