Join Our Team as an Equipment Coordinator at the Cahill Pennecon Joint Venture – St. John’s, NL

The Cahill-Pennecon Joint Venture is actively seeking a skilled and experienced Equipment Coordinator to join our team on the West White Rose Project , a landmark oil and gas development featuring a major offshore welding hookup based out of St. John’s, NL. This role offers a unique opportunity to lead one of Canada’s most complex welding operations, as we join the Concrete Gravity Structure (CGS) to the Topside Modules.

Responsibilities :

  • Maintain the storage area in a clean, organized, and safe condition at all times.
  • Control access for access to consumables, PPE; ensure only authorized personnel are permitted entry.
  • Receive incoming materials and complete associated documentation according to company procedures.
  • Log all tool and equipment transactions in the appropriate systems.
  • Tag out, track, and report broken or damaged tools to the maintenance department for repair.
  • Support shipping and receiving operations; perform related duties as required.
  • Assist in improving and streamlining material movement, inventory control, and storage processes.
  • Compile, file, and update all relevant paperwork and digital records in a timely and accurate manner.

Qualifications :

  • Previous experience in a similar handling of consumables, PPE and tools, warehouse, or materials handling role.
  • Familiarity with inventory control systems and standard documentation practices.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Basic computer proficiency (MS Excel, inventory software, etc.).
  • Ability to work independently and maintain attention to detail.
  • Start Date : July 2025, with offshore mobilization planned for August 2025
  • Onshore Schedule : Monday to Friday, 8-hour days
  • Offshore Rotation : 21 days on / 7 days off (may extend to 28 days on / 7 days off)
