Job description

We are seeking a seasoned and technically skilled Facilities Electrical Technician to support the operation, maintenance, and enhancement of electrical systems within Fab 10. This role is vital to ensuring the reliability, safety, and performance of electrical infrastructure that powers cutting-edge semiconductor manufacturing.

The successful candidate will work closely with engineers and cross-functional teams to execute maintenance programs, troubleshoot complex issues, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. This role offers opportunities for leadership development and technical growth in a dynamic, high-tech environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure strict compliance with environmental, health, and safety (EHS) standards across all electrical activities.
  • Perform routine and preventive maintenance on electrical systems ranging from 230kV to Low Voltage, including emergency generators, UPS systems, and power quality equipment.
  • Support commissioning and startup of new electrical systems and infrastructure upgrades.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical faults, applying structured problem-solving techniques such as 8D and RCA.
  • Assist in capacity planning and system performance monitoring to support site expansion and production needs.
  • Collaborate with engineers during design reviews and construction phases to ensure technical accuracy and operational readiness.
  • Conduct risk assessments and FMEA to identify and mitigate potential system failures.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of electrical systems, maintenance records, and compliance reports.
  • Mentor junior technicians and participate in technical training programs to elevate team capabilities.
  • Support deployment of SMART diagnostics tools and digital systems to improve maintenance efficiency and system intelligence.
Qualifications
  • Education: Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical certification.
  • Experience: Minimum3+ yearsin electrical maintenance and operations within semiconductor or advanced manufacturing environments.
  • Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of HV/MV/LV systems, electrical schematics, and safety codes. Familiarity with ETAP, IEC standards, and predictive maintenance tools is a plus.
  • Communication: Effective communicator with strong teamwork and documentation skills.
  • Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to resolve technical issues independently and collaboratively.
