TO Live’s Facilities Operations Department is currently accepting applications for a Facilities Coordinator position on a series of project-based assignments. This is a 6-month full time contract.This position is required to work primarily onsite and will require frequent travel between all TO Live venues in Toronto.
This position reports to the Director of Facilities; and the Facility Manager /or their designate. Duties include, but are not limited to, the following duties.
KEY ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Update and manage Asset register
· Update and manage vendor list
· Administration of existing CMMS
· Coordinate and manage CMMS transition project.
· Inventory management
· Assists in the supervision of contractors and third parties as required.
· Plan and organize facilities staff trainings as required.
· Other facility related duties and responsibilities as assigned or required.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS
· A suitable College degree and preferred two to five (2-5) years related experience in Facilities or Project management. Appropriate combination of education, training and experience may be considered.
· Proficient with Microsoft packages such as Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook etc.
· Good written and verbal communication skills
· Experience with facilities operation and maintenance activities.
· Critical thinking to identify problems, evaluate alternatives, and recommend effective solutions.
· Planning, Negotiation & Supervision skills.
· Good time management skills.
· Knowledge of Ontario Building code, Fire code, Occupational Health & Safety Acts and other related local & provincial regulation
· Prior experience and knowledge of CMMS administration & BAS will be added advantage.
WORKING CONDITIONS
· All work will primarily be onsite at one of the three TO Live venues.
· Flexibility in hours and schedules and include work on nights and weekends as required.
· Lack of natural light in workplace.
· Travel between TO Live venues as required.
