What will your compensation be?: The starting salary for this position is $20.00 per hour.

What will you do in this job?:

1. Demonstrate a positive attitude and safety-first approach.
2. Perform cleaning duties for all guest and team member areas including staff accommodation.
3. Cleaning duties will include all common area floors, public and staff washrooms, outdoor areas, windows, and other daily cleaning assignments.
4. Ensure cleaning checklists are completed and maintained daily.
5. Maintain garbage collection areas and help facilitate an effective recycling program through proper sorting and storage.
6. Ensure all cleaning supplies stock is adequate and well-organized.
7. Adhere to all WHMIS and other departmental safety requirements and notify facilities supervisor of any safety hazards or concerns.
8. Ensure grounds are maintained and clean throughout the operating day, including shoreline areas and walking paths within our leasehold.
9. Conduct daily rounds of outdoor garbage bins and grounds to pick up trash and dispose of refuse properly.
10. Perform general landscaping maintenance including grass cutting, trimming, leaf blowing, and raking.
11. During peak cafeteria hours, bussing of tables may be required.
12. Perform other duties as assigned.

• Must meet grooming and appearance standards.
• Consent to a criminal record check.
• First aid certification or higher is an asset.
