Job summary

Black & McDonald is seeking an intermediate-level, experienced Building Operator to support safe, efficient operation of client facilities in Regina and surrounding areas. You will oversee maintenance, safety, and minor repairs across multiple sites, reporting to the FMO Account Manager.

The role requires several years of experience, strong knowledge of BAS/BMS, and the ability to work independently with subcontractors.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience as Building Operator in a commercial facility.
• Experience with HVAC systems, BAS and mechanical/electrical troubleshooting.
• Ability to interact with contractors, technicians, or service providers.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute responsive and planned maintenance with BAS or facility management system.
• Coordinate work activities with subcontractors and supervise them.
• Respond to tenant complaints and perform light maintenance tasks.
• Maintain customer and supplier relationships to enhance competitiveness.
• Prepare progress reports and schedules for clients.
