Northern Health is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Facilitator, Quality & Patient Safety (SaferCare) to support teams in advancing quality improvement and patient safety across the organization.
The Facilitator, Quality & Patient Safety (SaferCare) provides direct day-to-day mentoring, coaching, and systems support to assigned teams in Northern Health for quality improvement, process improvement, and patient safety processes. In this role, the Facilitator works with leadership teams including supervisors, managers, directors and Health Service Administrators (HSAs) to provide support in the application of structures and processes to advance quality and patient safety at Northern Health. The Facilitator will also work with other members of the Quality and Transformation Team to provide education and training on quality and patient safety principles and processes, quality improvement methodologies and other principles, strategies, and tools used in the field of improvement science. The Facilitator supports operational teams to implement improvement by supporting tests of change, collecting, collating and presenting data, maintaining relevant materials and information, and tracking and updating teams on initiatives and progress. The Facilitator supports clinicians and leaders in the reporting and management of adverse events, assisting with and facilitating quality reviews, and developing and supporting the implementation of recommendations emerging from the quality reviews.
Starting salary will be approximately from $74,618 to $93,273 and will be based on education, training, experience, and salaries of similar positions.
