About MentorAbility NWT: MentorAbility is a national initiative that connects job seekers with disabilities to short-term mentorship opportunities with employers. The NT Hub works to build and support a network of employers and community partners to foster inclusive career exploration in the Northwest Territories.

About the Role: We are looking for a trusted community member with strong local connections to support MentorAbility NWT. The Facilitator will engage with employers, community partners, and job seekers with disabilities to create meaningful mentorship opportunities. This role is ideal for someone who values relationship-building and is passionate about fostering inclusive workplaces.

Responsibilities
  • Build relationships with employers, job seekers, and community partners to promote inclusive employment and facilitate mentorship opportunities.
  • Support employers in creating accessible and welcoming workplaces.
  • Work with the NT Hub Coordinator to track mentorship activities and report on program outcomes.
  • Participate in training, meetings, and events related to MentorAbility.
Who you are
  • A trusted and respected community member with strong local networks.
  • Possess strong relationship-building and communication skills.
  • Fluent in English. Fluency in more than one official language of the NWT is an asset.
Employment Details
  • Part-time (12 hours per week)
