Job description

Competition : FAC - 24-25-082 - Maintenance Worker 3 (MW3)

St. Albert Public Schools is currently recruiting a Full Time, Probationary, Maintenance Worker 3 for work assignments at various locations within the division .

More than 9000 students are enrolled in St. Albert Public Schools. From Preschool to Grade 12, our students learn and succeed in programs that are recognized for excellence and their focus on citizenship and sound values.

Hours of Work : 40.0 hrs. / week; 8.0 hrs. / day; Monday-Friday; Full-Time, Probationary

Hourly Rate : $29.60 per hour, as per the CUPE Collective Agreement

Specific Needs / Requirements for this position :

  • Experience in locksmithing is required.
  • Demonstrated experience in performing and assisting with the repair and maintenance of buildings, systems, and equipment is required.
  • Experience in snow removal and general maintenance is required.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and effectively within a team environment is required.
  • Experience in the use of construction codes, practices and equipment.
