We are seeking enthusiastic and safety-conscious individuals to join our team as Rebar Fabricators.

PURPOSE : Operate an overhead crane in a rebar fabrication shop.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Demonstrate conduct consistent with Nucor Rebar Fabrication’s vision and values.
• Perform all tasks with the utmost regard for safety of oneself and others.
• Load and unload trailers and store materials in storage bins.
• Assemble and load orders onto trailers for shipping.
• Operate an overhead gantry crane.
• Maintain the shop or designated area in a clean and safe manner.
• Assist other team members in any of the above tasks.

Minimum Qualifications and Education Requirements

• Previous overhead crane experience as an operator.
• Good time management skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

SPECIAL DEMANDS

• Fast-paced environment with safety as a top priority.
• Overtime hours may be required.
• Ability to work any shift.
• Familiarity with and adherence to shop safety policies and procedures.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Some heavy lifting may be necessary.
• Working conditions can be noisy, dusty, hot, or cold.
