Job description

You will mainly be responsible for the service and inspection of fire alarm systems according to standards and codes. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Inspection, service, and troubleshooting of existing fire alarm systems;
  • Performing upgrades, repairs, additions, or improvements following inspections;
  • Preparing inspection, verification, and deficiency reports in a timely manner;
  • Responding to emergency calls during evenings and weekends on a rotational basis.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Diploma in Fire Protection Technology or Technologist certification;
  • CFAA certification;
  • 5-10 years of relevant experience in fire protection;
  • Experience in fire alarm systems programming;
  • Knowledge of Notifier products (asset);
  • Knowledge of marine fire alarm systems (asset);
  • Ability to work independently;
  • Valid driver’s license.
