Westerner Park is seeking a Food & Beverage Services Administrative Assistant summer student to join our team as part of the Canada Summer Jobs Program! Here’s what you’ll be doing:

  1. Providing administrative support to the food & beverage department as requested i.e., labeling, filing, laminating, paper trimming, creating excel sheets, preparing training manuals, and organizing documents.
  2. Complete and review food & beverage event documents, assist with revisions to the food & beverage services training programs.
  3. Review and prepare all documents, reports and other correspondence materials.
  4. Coordinate departmental activities.
  5. Assist with supporting at event time and helping to ensure successful event execution.
  6. Take and transcribe dictation notes and meeting minutes.
  7. Maintain a high level of confidentiality in all interactions.
  8. Assist with report and presentation preparation.

Is this you? Here’s what we’re looking for:

  1. Attending a business related post-secondary program, or a recent graduate, preferably with a Food & Beverage or Hospitality focus, is an asset.
  2. Food & Beverage experience is an asset.
  3. Experience using the Microsoft Office 365 suite.
  4. A pleasant, positive, and courteous attitude.
  5. Must qualify for the Canada Summer Jobs Program.

Rate of Pay: $18.00 Per Hour
