Job summary

FYidoctors Lower Sackville is seeking a Patient Services Specialist to greet patients, handle check-in/check-out, and provide outstanding service in a fast-paced ophthalmic setting. You will assist with pre-testing, scheduling, billing, and eyewear adjustments while delivering a positive patient experience.

The ideal candidate brings excellent communication skills, comfort with MS Office, and a team-first attitude.

Qualifications

• Previous retail experience is considered an asset.
• Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with technology and computers, including MS Office Suite.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for connecting with patients and delivering exceptional patient experiences.
• A collaborative, adaptable, and proactive team player with a growth mindset, able to manage changing priorities effectively.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients to the clinic, manage check-in/check-out and engage with patients in person, by phone, and via email.
• Perform pre-testing to support comprehensive eye care.
• Coordinate appointments, prepare prescription printouts, and manage billing and payments.
• Manage eyewear pick-ups and perform minor repairs and adjustments on eyewear.
• Deliver exceptional customer service ensuring a positive patient experience.
• Support clinic operations by performing additional duties as required.
