As a Manager in our Valuation, Modelling and Economics Practice, you’ll help facilitate intelligent decision-making powered by accurate information. You will be a key part of our diverse, highly experienced team working on high-profile transactions, using leading business tools and methodologies to deliver insights to sophisticated clients.

The opportunity

EY’s established EY-Parthenon Practice helps clients determine the right deals and execute them effectively. We are a growing, resource-rich practice offering broad engagement opportunities, mentoring, and formal learning to develop outstanding leaders committed to building a better working world for our people, clients, and communities.

Your Key Responsibilities

You will analyze economic and financial data, market trends, and industry reports to develop economic models supporting government agencies, non-profits, and corporations across industries and markets. Participation in assignments involving econometric and statistical techniques for valuation, risk assessment, economic damages quantification, and strategic decision-making will be required. These models support operations, strategic planning, project finance, M&A, tax, financial reporting, and litigation.

You will also expand and strengthen client relationships through business development activities. The role involves developing new client relationships under guidance, with some travel as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in economics, mathematics, statistics, or related field
  • At least 5 years of experience or a PhD in economics, finance, mathematics, or related area
  • Minimum of 4 years in economic consulting, specializing in cost-benefit analysis, impact assessments, econometric modeling, forecasting, and policy analysis
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint
  • Experience with Python, EViews, STATA, R, and MatLab

Preferred Qualifications

  • Programming skills in VBA or C++ are an asset
