The external sales representative will actively engage in the sales process to generate and increase equipment sales. This role involves supporting consulting engineers, selecting air conditioning, ventilation, and heating equipment, and assisting the sales team from the initial project phase through to completion. The person will be responsible for proactively promoting the company's products in the HVAC-R industry.

Responsibilities include:

  • Building relationships within the HVAC-R industry.
  • Visiting customers and worksites.
  • Selecting equipment based on design documents.
  • Ensuring products are specified by consulting engineers.
  • Analyzing and qualifying projects submitted by the internal team.
  • Participating in preparing product equivalence tables.
  • Promoting the company's equipment, ventilation, and heating solutions.
  • Leading and coaching the internal support and estimation team.
  • Involvement throughout the sales process.
  • Submitting bids for equipment procurement.
  • Creating technical drawings as needed.

Candidate requirements:

  • Diploma in building mechanics with experience in HVAC-R.
  • Experience in technical sales.
  • Existing contact network in HVAC-R (asset).
  • Excellent communication skills and team collaboration.
  • Bilingual in French and English, with the ability to interact regularly with internal and external stakeholders across the country. No alternative solutions meet these requirements.
