Project Management – Co-manufacturing- Introduction calls with potential customers: Leclerc presentation, evaluation of the business potential
- Maintain relationships with existing customers and create new relationships with new partners. Weekly follow up calls to either host or participate in.
- Perform a feasibility evaluation, determine which one of our production lines would be best suited and enter a project to be reviewed by functional team
- Project kick off and coordination: Definition of goals and objectives, timeline, communication and coordination with multiple Leclerc departments
- Manufacturing fee determination: Be able to identify the risks and uncertainties when submitting a quote and outline the specific conditions to the customer
- Work with engineering and external suppliers to determine the capital expenses attributed to a new project
- Negotiate to sign a manufacturing contract that is fair for both parties and protects Leclerc from risks.
Project Management – External manufacturing
- Identify and evaluate potential external manufacturing partners by assessing strengths and weaknesses. Focus on non-core processes that can be done more efficiently by an external manufacturer. Manufacturers need to align with Leclerc’s values and quality standards.
- Monitor and manage the costs associated with external manufacturing to ensure they are and stay within budget
- Develop an RFP model to define new projects
- Negotiate contracts and pricing with external manufacturing partners
Qualifications:
- At least 5 years of professional experience in supply chain management, manufacturing, or equivalent fields is required
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, Business or a related field
- Excellent project management and organizational skills
- Strong negotiation and communication skills / influence
- Ability to travel as needed to visit supplier sites and host visit in Leclerc’s 8 plants in North America
