Job description

As an Exteriors Installer is you are responsible for the professional installation of exterior building components, including but not limited to siding, soffits, fascia, trims, windows, doors, and related weatherproofing systems. The Installer shall perform duties in accordance with company standards, applicable building codes, and safety regulations. The role requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team to complete projects efficiently, safely, and to a high standard of quality.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Install exterior materials such as vinyl, wood, metal, or composite siding and trims.
  • Fit and finish soffits, fascia, flashings, and other exterior architectural elements.
  • Install doors and windows with proper sealing and structural integrity.
  • Follow project plans, specifications, and verbal instructions from supervisors.
  • Use and maintain hand tools, power tools, and safety equipment correctly.
  • Ensure all work complies with relevant building codes and health and safety guidelines.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work environment and protect surrounding property.
  • Report any site issues, material shortages, or installation concerns promptly.
  • Collaborate with team members and site supervisors to ensure timely project completion.

The Degagne Carpentry management team may from time to time assign additional duties to the Employee in line with the general duties.
