EXT ESP Temporary Educational Assistant - Grey Highlands Secondary School

Temporary Educational Assistant position at Grey Highlands Secondary School with Bluewater District School Board. This is a temporary full-time (1.00 FTE) role commencing as soon as possible and ending June 25, 2026 or earlier if circumstances change.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical, physical and safety/supervision support to students with intensive special education needs in elementary and secondary schools, under the direction of the school Principal.

Qualifications

• Secondary school diploma plus completion of a post-secondary education program in one of the following: Education Support Worker, Educational Assistant Certificate, Early Childhood Educator, Social Service Worker, Developmental Services Worker, Child and Youth Worker, Educational Assistant Apprenticeship Program or equivalent education and/or experience.
